Friday Product Review-Whole Grain Helpers

Welcome to my Friday Product Review! Do you have a product review you have recently done on your blog? Link it up to my Linky Tools at the bottom of this post.

This week I will be reviewing the new Whole Grain Helpers from Hamburger Helper. The Whole Grain Helper Meals are: Cheeseburger Macaroni, Honey Mustard Chicken, Lemon and Herb Chicken and Stroganoff. Two of these are orginial Hamburger Helpers: Cheeseburger Macaroni and Stroganoff. The difference seems to be the Whole Grain Helpers have whole grain pastas in them.

This is the ingredient label for the Classic Cheeseburger Macaroni:

_________________________

We have actually tried both of these products. The classic version is very salt to me and heavy. The whole grain version was tasty though, but not something I would typically buy. But a big plus for me is, other than the fact it is whole grain, there are no food dyes in the Whole Grain Helper Version. It may not be the best product out there but it certainly is a step in the right direction!

So there it is, your Friday Product Review. Now its time to link up one of your own reviews.

  1. I agree with the classic version tasting salty. I haven't tried the whole grain one though. I have been buying a lot less processed foods. I have a couple rice/noodles in the pantry for times we need something really quick.

  2. You could totally make this yourself though. I think most convience foods are a scam. All you need for this is hamburger meat and macaroni. You could add your own twist on it and control the sodium.
